Everyone has questions when they learn you're an embryologist.

I'm happy to oblige, after all, offering fertility guidance, advice, and support to friends - and friends of friends - is something I've done for almost two decades.

Why did I start Two Lines Fertility? – it's simple:  To get back to the business of making babies, not money.

My Story

It's no secret that I've become increasingly frustrated during my career at the gaps in IVF and fertility treatment, specifically the lack of support and guidance provided to people embarking on this life-changing journey.

But sadly, there's so much inaccurate general knowledge out there, and many clients tell me, "I wish we'd known about you when we were starting out. It would have been so much easier!"

I couldn't agree more.

My career as an embryologist began with Monash IVF in Melbourne in 2001. Since then, I've worked in Sweden, the UK, Ireland, and Germany. I managed a lab for Monash IVF in Queensland, and I've consulted in clinics throughout Europe, the UK, and Australia.

But the one thing I love as much as helping people have babies? Learning.

I've attended 8 ESHRE conferences (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology), countless FSA conferences, and SIRT meetings (Fertility Society of Australia and Scientists in Reproductive Technology). So, what does this have to do with you?

I know the what, where, who, why, and how of fertility – and how to best help you.

And believe me, I've ridden the rollercoaster of infertility too.

I'd lost all hope of a sibling for our daughter (after 7 years of trying!), and decided to shift my focus to my health, and the family I was already blessed with. Then after a natural, spontaneous conception, our son was born. I was 44 years old.

Looking back, I'm convinced the changes I made six months before Teddy's conception contributed directly to my ability to conceive, and to the health of our boy.

I'm aware of how fortunate I am to have two children of my own, Imogen and Teddy, born seven years, and at least four miscarriages, apart. I have three stepchildren too, all in their 20's.

Whether you're just beginning your fertility journey, or you're a little further along, I'm here to help increase your chances of conceiving, and minimise the stress, anxiety, and confusion that comes with it.

And I'll happily answer all the questions you've saved for the day you got to meet an embryologist.
